Timothy Leary‘s essay entitled â€Å"The Cyberpunk: The Individual as Reality Pilot† first appeared in Chaos and Cyber Culture in 1994. Leary defines cyberpunks as â€Å"Cyberpunks use all available data-input to think for themselves.† He writes about â€Å"the cyberperson, cybertech and cyberpolitics.† The cyberperson is the one who pilots his/her own life.
